Oh, the absolute gem of a stay! The clean, roomy digs. Just a stroll away from the best fish and chips at the local joint. The lovely park nearby was a cherry on top. The shower? Pure bliss! Can't forget those cozy beds, the perfect end to a day exploring York.

Not the end of the world, but a smoother entry would've shined brighter.

Location and rooms, they were perfect here. I got an airy and cheap room with complementary tea, nice facilities, a fan. Everything was really good, I enjoyed that. The location was magnificent and easy, in a residential area, in the nice enough area. Really nice stay, as always.

The downtown is within 15 minutes' walk. The units are cheap, spotless.

The absence of a personal greeting at check-in left much to be desired!!! The outdated decor throughout the hotel detracts from the experience, whereas clearer communication regarding room access would alleviate unnecessary confusion!!!

The room was quiet but did face the street, so occasional noise was a factor. No breakfast was available, a letdown, and the dining area felt under-staffed, lacking a cute vibe. The decor needs updating as it's quite tired and could use a refresh. It had potential but also left some things to be desired.

I loved the charming Victorian style of the guest house, which gave a unique character to my stay. The self check-in convenience allowed me to settle in smoothly after arriving late, and I appreciated the complimentary bottled water available in the room. With a spacious and comfortable room, I felt right at home during my time here!

This place is in a great location near the center of the old town with plenty of restaurants, and they offer a delicious English breakfast with lots of food options.

This venue is peaceful, and the staff here are very helpful and friendly.

The basic double room is clean and comes with Wi-Fi, a small fridge, and a kettle, all for just £55. the staff here are exceptionally friendly and welcoming 😊.
